MICSA is Swiss based technology that incorporates the chemical bonding of its products to metal surfaces to reduce friction, oxidation, rust, working temperatures and wear. MICSA is not an additive as rather than remaining in the substance, it uses the motor & gear oils, lubricants, greases and hydraulic fluids as a transporting agent to reach the metal where through a chemical process known as polymerization, the microscopic molecules of MICSA link together under the influence of heat, friction and pressure to form a network Polymer which chemically bonds to the surfaces.

It works by modifying the metal surface to reduce friction, corrosion and rust. It may also be put directly onto metal surfaces such as in machine shop applications and on bearing surfaces before grease is packed, it is a high-quality metal conditioner that attaches to and increases lubrication on any working part or machine thereby reducing resistance and ultimately wear and tear.  The effect of the MICSA treatment is a metal surface that has a much-reduced coefficient of friction (Dynamic Wet 0.04) which in essence reduces wear and tear on mechanised parts allowing the MICSA Products basically to be appropriate to be used on nearly all mechanical and or mechanised working parts.

The blending of various Polymers of Fluoropolymers forms a combination of grades of MICSA product that have the lowest coefficient of friction known to man, practically chemically inert, corrosion resistant, unique dry lubrication properties, excellent mechanical resistance, exceptional insulator, high wear resistance, non-flammable and can operate once bonded, in the 100°C – 290°C range and for short periods in the 450°C levels. MICSA is chemically inert and as such does not mix with lubricants such as oil once the bonding to the metal has occurred, the benefits of Polymer Technology using the right colloidal chemistry provides added benefit way beyond low friction and wear. The parent liquid of the preparation is a volatile detergent liquid which has a cleaning action on the parts to be coated before it evaporates. According to scientific analysis, no base detergent liquid and or MICSA product is harmful to engine parts, seals or gaskets, nor is left in the oil.
